In history when Vikings became Christian and followed the one true God. It was a joyous day or should I say joyous years even though it was filled with blood but when were they not? But Im glad they kept their music and even to this day they do. I was born American and thus I have different blood in my veins. But some of that blood comes from the far distant north

Always nice to hear music like this as I'm 100% Norse descendent we have many items that have stayed in the family for over 1000 years. I appreciate ppl who take the time to learn about Norse culture, religion, and much more. All though I don't practice many of the things my ancestors did. I still believe in the old ways and the gods

Wow! I just discovered this genre of music. As a middle eastern with no clue about Scandinavian folk music and of course no Germanic roots, it's interesting that Im so amazed by this kind of music. Heilung was the first band I heard in this genre, but now im discovering even better bands. This music is so mesmerizing, spritual and deep!
