Shelter Cat Works At A Museum Now Stores that have cats that live in them are my favorites. Seems like every used book store has a cat or two wandering around, trying to look important. Bonus points if the cat is just some random cat that wandered in one day and refused to leave. My friend worked at a Mazda dealership that has a cat that just wouldnt go away. Every day it would sneak in and nap on the fancy chairs in the waiting area. Eventually they just gave up because it wouldnt go away and customers loved it.

What a great decision to have an office cat! It's obvious he has many admirers who are giving him treats- he's a hefty boy! I think more businesses would benefit from having a cat, but I don't know how they deal with people who are allergic to cats.

Black cat at the skeleton museum is a real aesthetic
Edit: when (sadly) he passes someday i really need his skeleton to sit in this museum, and rule over the other animal skeletons in death like the royal he is in life.

I’m surprised that they don’t take him home at night. You really wonder what all he could get up to by himself in that place. I also really wonder how they keep him from climbing all over the skeletons!
reply

I knew from the first frame that this was about Indiana Bones! I only went to the museum once on vacation but I bought so much Indy merch in the gift shop lol
reply

this is such a great environment for a cat! lots to explore, included a ton of cabinets, shelves, cubbies, and boxes where if he fits he sits!
reply

It makes me kind of sad that he doesn’t have a human to cuddle with at night but otherwise he is very cute and seems happy and healthy

What a awesome place to work. I live just south of OKC and never heard of this place until now. I’ll definitely make a visit!

i bet seeing the other animals stuffed and mounted keeps his manners in line too.
wouldnt want to become an exhibit right

Oh my lord, my cat is named Indy too! And the cool thing is that she’s black with yellow eyes too. She’s twenty and fearful.
reply

This is begging for someone to narrate the cats replies to the all the questions he’s asked. Playful music and all.
reply

Of course Indy needs to be the worker of the month, of the year. SInce he works 24/7 and basically lives at this job
reply

Good thing you didn’t get a dog. He might have been tempted to take some of the exhibits for a good chew.
reply

Well better a cat then a dog at a place that has millions of bones the place would be covered in drool

That cat is pretty much the star of the museum. He really makes me laugh. Adorable little boy.
reply

I love that you have a museum cat! If he gets a companion I recommend Jack or Jackie skeleton.

Wild animals killed and stuffed for display turn my stomach. First Dodo video I ever bailed on.

This is nice. To the humans it is an office. For Indy it is his home and all employees are family.

I live in Oklahoma! I can go see indi! Why did I not know about this! I feel absolutely left out!
