i have 150 hours in the game. was forced to restart completely twice, due to the tutorial bugging out. i survived 3 days trapped in a crashed freighter, took a savegame editor to get out. i never know what kinda fps im going to have when loading the game as it yo-yo's from launch to launch. after the nms logo upon launch it can take 3 to 15 minutes before im in game. first time i loaded the game i was maxed out on all video settings and now im pushing 30fps on medium settings with micro freezing and fps spikes and dips. i should lower my settings again but i think id rather quit playing. for you see. none of the above is a game breaker really. its all the bugs in the game that kill it. using the terrain manipulator causes me to fall through the world everytime. sentinels bug out and never lose aggro. i could keep going and going. at the end of the day, game killing game bugs run rampant but to hello games more content is of greater importance. i actually filed a ticket about getting stuck in the freighter and have yet to get a response. hell. i sent 2 tickets about this a month ago. technical support doesnt exist at all. please dont be like me and drop $64 for nms on steam. if you absolutely gotta have it. wait until its on sale at least. it really isnt worth a full priced game.

First I like to say, liked your video. It is nice to see girls are into games too. I have more or less just got the game No man's Sky. I love it, have to trouble with it in performance. However, I have an Ibuypower gaming computer. It is a gt 1060 3gb Intel I7 7700 k 500ssd m-2 with over 5tb storage drive. I have no trouble at all. Looks awesome. I also play Empyrion plus Ark and lost of other game. I mainly use my computer for 3-d animations like blander, pose, mike shade. Photoshop. and a lot of other 3d drawings. Peace and love to one and all. most of all kick the tires and light the fire. and keep the game alive.

Funny how most people are saying performance is worse. It actually improved a lot for me.
I have a GTX 770 4GB, so a pretty old card, and before i couldn't even reach 30 fps most of the time. I didn't play it because of that. It was unbearable.
Now I get 30-40 fps on average, never really dropping below 30, sometimes even getting up to 60 in space. It doesn't stutter. Nothing.
I can finally play this god damn game, and I'm pretty happy about it.
I even think it's good, that I started playing just now, so I have all of the new stuff right away.

I just bought this game and have logged a few hours. I can-t speak for what the game used to be, but I-m enjoying it the way it is. Apart from the glitches you mentioned, I don-t see what the big deal is. If you-re willing to spend 250 hours playing a game, why does an extra second of scan time or the inability to miracle materials to your ship bother you? I enjoy the little flavor of -reality- or struggle in the things you disliked.

Thanks for being honest about the game unlike alot of reviewers. I was kind of interested in buying the game but doubling the scanning time, crafting bullets and all the time gates seems like the devs are just being dicks for no reason. I'll do the same thing I did 2 years ago and pass that game.

Try as I might I just can't seem to find something about this game to draw me in. I'd very much like to enjoy it and I've tried but it just doesn't seem to be my kind of thing. It is good to know that people have found it to be fun after that launch. I mean wow, that launch.

might sound like a nube, but i have some rather important questions if any of the more knowledgeable players could answer. 1. when you are in creative mode are you still in the multiplayer part of the game? and 2. how the hell do you craft ammunition for your weapon?

I am having a problem, refined chromatic metal, build base computer, claim site, and I cant build base, and no base components in my menu, tried going to new planet, do same thing over, and same problem, anybody else come accross this?

I really think it has improved. The glitch in still there but most of the is she is a scene and some of these videos have actually 10 fixed or redeuce to happening cuz I haven't had any problems. Thanks for the video.

Some of your issues with the game (tracking birds/fish, and performance issues) seem to be console exclusive. I play NMS on a monster PC that runs a GTX1070. No problems here. I think you need to be aware of that.

I play this game on my original PS4, no real glitches or lag except for the initial loading screen with the whole universe that lags a little as always. 100+ hours into my save in NMS Next and it havn-t crashed once.

Scanning tip: You can kill the animal, bird, fish and then scan it. This helps the fact you cant finish scanning because they move too fast
