I have never played a Monster Hunter game but that 'big monster you're not even hunting swallowing a smaller monster and puking it up for its children' ecosystem thing sounds like THE COOLEST SHIT EVER and I'm sold

I'm with you, Griffin. I was inordinately excited for this announcement. My three favorite things from this E3 are Monster Hunter, Anthem and Shadow of the Colossus. Now that I think about it, they're all about hunting big monsters haha.

As a big MonHun fan, the negative takes regarding the changes in MHWorld got me worried about the future of the franchise, but watching Griffin all excited about it has turned my worries into hype for this. Never change, Polygon!

I just hope they don't casualize it and make it laughably easy.
The difficulty is what makes it fun.
That being said, I doubt they'd do that to their Japanese fanbase, which is much larger than the Western one.

totally not alone in feeling it's the most exciting thing out of e3! i couldn't believe it was monster hunter at first, I almost cried when the title revealed! this game is so underrated and very important to me!
