WE ALL LOVED TANYA however she was a horrible human being and even when Portia finally tried to warn her although it was to late she was still thinking of herself. BELINDA WAS THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE! SHE POURED INTO EVERYONE even when her cup was EMPTY; SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEHIND HER JOB! A single working class mom putting her son thru school! THESE VARIABLES MATTER! This is also why its important to have DIVERSITY in the writing room. FIRSTLY; I LOVE EVERYONE esp whyte folks. BUT THE way the are HUMANIZED and even at their worst and most vilest still given an angel arc or can leave a fonf memory in our hearts while black characters GET NONE OF THAT AT ALL; no nuance, no depth; is annoying as fck! IN REAL LIFE JUST LIKE IN HERE NO ONE WOULD TAKE TANYA seriously! SHE ACTUALLY CARED FOR TANYA outside of the money and spa; Obv she was hurt but before she even know about the spa venture; SHE WAS POURING INTO TANYA! WHEN SHE TRIED TO WARN PEOPLE; NO ONE LISTENED TO HER; JUST LIKE IN REAL LIFE when a blk woman or person is trying to talk to authority about a white person. SHE WAS TOLD SHE WAS OVER THINKING IT AND THAT SHE WAS Wrong but yall SKIPPED OVER ALL OF THAT! YALL ALSO SKIPPED OVEE HER having to be TALKED INTO IT NUMEROUS TIMES TO FINALLY TAKE THE OFFER. AND IN REAL LIFE THATS NOT SELFISH; thats weighing the odds and playing the game esp WHEN YOURE A BLACK WOMAN in America and ESP in a different country. EVEN A POOR OR WROKING CLASS white person could have taken Belinda's path and I WOULD ARGUE THE SAME DEFENSE minus the racial elements. Its like yall willfully ignore the humanity of blacks the second the deviate from a stereotype. SHE LITERALLY SAID SHE WANTED TO RELAX! SHE WAS WORKING HER ENTIRE LIFE! NO COMPARISON TO TANYA

Don't waste your time looking for symbolism. Even Mike White finds it humorous that some viewers do this. He doesn't like when viewers micro analyze the show because then we notice mistakes, inconsistencies, and plot holes. Ex. Body shown floating in the water in Ep. 1 didn't match any of the characters that died. Or that the characters weren't upset about the shooting & deaths at the end or weren't detained and interviewed by Thai police.
Looking back on the season MW made it obvious that Chelsea would die along with Rick. She made comments alluding to it several times. The different looking body in the water was either a big mistake or a frustrating and dishonest misdirection. Either way, don't take the overall plot or death too seriously as apparently this is mainly a story about character study. Or so MW says. If you treat it as a mystery to solve it's extremely disappointing IMO.

Rick had just killed three men, and started the crossfire that killed Chelsea. (Incidentally, how did Rick get to be such a good shot, better than the bodyguards Clearly it's related to him having a buddy in Thailand who could get him a gun - what other crimes has he committed) Sritala was understandably distraught, and Gaitok may not have had all the facts, but he wasn't wrong to accept her word that Rick was responsible and had to be stopped. So he was walking away, and unarmed He was still a murderer.

Belinda did not shaft PornChai! He brought it up after they slept together once, after she'd been there 3 or 4 days. She barely knows him! Even before the money, she said maybe. Deciding not to go into business with a man she's known for a week is NOT the same as what Tanya did to her. I'm glad she got the money and decided to leave immediately. Gary/Greg is right up the hill & there was no reason for her to stay. It's okay that she took the money & ran. I'm thrilled for her.

Belinda does not shaft Porchi. She never made any plans or commitments to him. She mentioned it to him as her dream, and he quickly suggested they do it together. She gave him a funny look after he said that. Greg/Gary is never going to get arrested or face any justice. That kind of money pretty much guarantees that. Even though 5 million is not a lot for most ultra wealthy, it can buy some safety and security for Belinda and Zion.

Your disdain towards Belinda is loud, wrong and unfounded. What Tanya did to her in season 2 is NOT the same thing she did to Porn-Chai this season. The interwoven clips of her trying her best to deny the hush money are weirdly placed among commentary that paint her as a sell out, but you don’t speak anywhere near as much about her inner struggle in those clips. She deserved that money and had every right to sail off as she pleases.

I didnt understand this season. Rick goes to Jim’s house (a nutorious gangster in Thailand, assult him and waves at him with the gun, then runs out and goes to Jim’s hotel to splash in pool and eat dounats - who does that! They said MULTIPLE times that Jim is a dangerous man - what makes you think you can go to his house to assult him and then go to his hotel to chill They totally lost me this last episode. Lazy writing!

I believe her decision was heavily influenced by Zion.
She also has a heavy heart with betrayal.
Greg’s offer of $100, 000 was like getting a turkey for your bonus at work.
$5, 000, 000 is more realistic, however, it is not worth selling your moral value.

Belinda did the same thing to Pornchai that Tonya did to her in season 1. Was kinda hoping Belinda would have alerted authorities instead of taking the blood money. almost seems like her sons presence clouded her usually good judgement

I hated that Belinda sold her soul for a bag. All her new coins are tainted in Tanya’s blood. Now she and her son are forever tethered to Gary/Greg and Tanya’s international murder investigation.

Tanya wasn't murdered, her death was accidental. She was supposed to be murdered but she murdered her would be murderers.

Belinda and Pornchi's story was what I focused on. The rest was predictable. Pornchii deserved better, his heart was pure. .
