so when i first heard LoveGame on the radio back when it dropped, I was like hey, this is pretty OK for pop music - I found the song interesting and while it definitely had elements of stuff I grew up in, I noticed the lyrical content and was like oh, more trite lyrics from your average 2000's pop star. then I heard Bad Romance. and heard elements of classic glam rock and ELO (the amazing Electric Light Orchestra for the younger kids out there hehe) and was like she's gonna be massive. Later in 2011, I got my (then) 4 year old daughter a copy of Dance Central that featured Just Dance (obviously hehe) and Paparazzi and loved the production and definite musicality of her songs. The same year, I got The Fame & The Fame Monster and noticed a little song called I Like It Rough which reminded me of Depeche Mode's Strangelove (from 1987. and I LOVE DM btw) and was like yep, i'm a massive fan and she's definitely a phenomenon that only comes once or twice in a lifetime. ever since then, nothing but love and respect for Mother Monster. and she has more talent in one pinky fingernail than most modern pop stars have these days. combined.
I adore her take no sht approach and as a musician myself, I can tell she's worked VERY hard to get to even where she got in 2008 and she only gets better.
Her newest album, Mayhem, is, in my opinion anyways, one of the greatest albums of all time, period.
slay mother monster, slay!

what i love about her is that she’s genuine. nowadays many celebrities talk about lgbtqia rights and it feels like some started to because it makes them more likeable or gain more fans whatsoever. gaga has always been talking about our community and she’s always felt authentic and genuine in it. she never stopped talking about things she believed were important even though so many people were bashing her for that. also, i love how she acknowledges others i remember her saying she doesn’t give herself a credit for changing people’s lives and that she always tells fans that they themselves are the ones who change their lives. she truly cares, she feels so honest in it.

I knew from the second I listened to Just Dance. After hearing it played on my local radio station in Tulsa, OK, I would call into KHITS 106. 9 and request to listen to Lady Gaga multiple times a day. The same happened with Poker Face, Paparazzi, and LoveGame. Eventually, I was dubbed Gaga Jonnie by one of the radio station hosts that I'd called into the most (his name escapes me. I had never done that with any other artist in my 38 years of living. She's the Queen of MY heart, the artist who inspires me daily, and will forever be my Mother Monster.

2008. I was only 11, but that was the year my life changed. I grew up in a very small town, and I remember I said to a few students about this incredible new artist I just heard. They made fun of me for liking her, and they said Lady Gaga wouldn't make it this far into her career. And my fellow Little Monsters, here we are almost 20 years later, and she's still doing what's best. Mayhem was sooo worth the 5 year wait to me. Lady Gaga, thanks for changing so many lives of your fans, including myself.

Lady gaga also has the fastest song to surpass 1 Billion and 2 Billion streams on spotify (Die with a smile)
She is the only female artist to have multiple number 1 hits in every decade this century (2000s, 2010s, 2020s)

I was in elementary school back in 2008 when Gaga started and I remember being the first in my class to be her fan, because she had the boldness and bravery to simply present herself in unconventional ways and as some one who is misunderstood and didn’t fit in, it was empowering it showed me that I didn’t have to pretend or make myself smaller to fit in, that I could and should present my self as I am, because baby I was born this way.

I've no issues with the way you were born.
Now.
When you try to shove your way of life down MY throat forcefully and MAKE me acknowledge you and your pronouns. Then. Then we have a problem. I'm all for live and let live. But taking a parents right and messing with the school system You're crossing a line.

The Fame was my all time favourite followed by The Fame Monster so whatever Gaga fans says I have to give massive credit to her earlier music as I still got the original Fame CD when it came out in the UK (not The Fame Monster unfortunately)

I was never a Gaga fan till Born This Waythen I was hooked. I even went back to listen to her stuff before that. Now I love all her work, on and off stage. She’s become a goddess to me! An absolutely vital part of life!

Dale Bozzio, the lead singer of Missing Persons, did the meat dress back in the 1980s. I forget which music video it was, but I was surprised when I first saw it.

Don’t forget the most important part of her career, collaborating with R Kelly on a song about doing what two people want to do with each other’s bodies.

And she’s just getting started. I love her amazing talent but I love her heart for humanity even more. There is no limit to what she can do.

When she couldn't perform in 2017's Rock in Rio and tweet the iconic phrase Brazil, I'm devastated (now a meme.
PS: SHE IS COMING THIS YEAR!

How bout when she wrote the song Hold My Hand for the soundtrack of the movie Top Gun: Maverick Which became a great power ballad.
