I'm Only Me When I'm With You on Fearless idk why I just thought of that but it should be by the beginning of the album before they heartbreak songs
St! could probably work on Reputation but by then the sl-tshamimg would have been not as loud so probably not plus the music difference
I think TIWWCHNT is actually fine on its own btw it's her just being sarcastic like yeah that happened but yeah screw you it's in the past I know hahahah hehe which could work for 1989 but in the original era she kind of got over it until later on in the era
Also Getaway Car is perfect on its own as well

Disagree with This is why we cant have nice things, I think Reputation is definitely where it belongs. While yes its very upbeat like 1989 the instrumentals, arrangement and mixing is quite different and much more in line with Reputation. I think because LWYMMD and Ready for it? were the first two singles to release from that album it gets pigeonholed as having this dark and negative vibe, which this video even does. I hated the first two singles so honestly didnt listen to the rest of the album for ages, finally gave it a shot and was really surprised now a couple of my favourites are on there.

I think because LWYMMD and Ready for it? were the first two singles to release from that album it gets pigeonholed as having this dark and negative vibe, which this video even does. The problem with taking any song from any of her other albums and putting them on folklore or evermore. Is that the majority of her songbook has been autobiographical whereas evermore and folklore were mainly not autobiographical. I remember when folklore came out reading a story about how she approached the songs on the album is more stories, not necessarily of her life.

I'm sorry to say this, but I for one would have preferred Taylor's country genre. Soon It Will Get Better featuring the Dixie Chicks would have ended up on Folklore or Evermore. And to top it off, don't you think a country version of Welcome To New York would have ended up on Speak Now (Taylor's Version) for once?

hard disagree with basically all of these, but I guess it could just be because I feel like all of them are on their respective albums with purpose because of the stories and times in her life. I guess I could I see why sonically it seems like some would fit elsewhere, but like no lol they're where they should be
