The faking dyslexia one isn't even bad to ve honest. The episode is taking about how faking a disability is a bad thing and is a serious issue and is a mockery for those who have it. What is bad would be the autism episode in girl meets world because besides the girls denying that farkle is autistic and acting as if its a horrible thing to have, trying to make him feel better about himself by saying hes not autistic, telling him he needs to stop doing all those things that are clearly the symptoms to make him seem normal, and worst of all, in the end its is reviled that hes not autistic despite the fact that he has every autistic trait on the list and basically told everyone that self diagnosis is bad even though its accurate and very clear that he is on the spectrum. Why make an autism episode if hes not autistic? The episode may have tried to make it be about acceptance and they only did it half right. They accepted him for being who he is, but they didn't accept him for being autistic and made it worse by revealing he isn't. The episode did nothing by showing awareness but not acceptance

The one with Zack on dyslexia I don't think people should be looking at Zach claiming to have dyslexia and not having it but instead look at their mother I myself am a little dyslexic and I don't have a problem the joke but their mother always did kind of give Cody all the praise yes Zack was not very bright but it can't help the situation when they compare him to his smarter twin brother now no she shouldn't have belittled Cody's achievements to make him feel better but she could have been a little more considerate

I don't get how the diabetes approach on Hannah Montana is offensive? I was diagnosed with it a year ago and it reminded me of that episode. My family and friends freaking out about what I should or shouldn't eat was just like on the show, I actually felt identified with Oliver.
I think it helps you a lot to understand that having a medical condition like diabetes is not the end of the world and that is not a reason to be ashamed of because there are people to support you.

I can see why these things are rather problematic for Disney. It may be different for some types of TV but Disney has a very young demographic that may not be the best to go the routes they did. It's one thing to say Screw you people, why can't they just take this joke. But on the other hand too, if they aren't laughing, they aren't laughing.

I remember the second episode where Cody disguised as a woman for the beauty contest and the mom sighed in relief that it was bc of him trying to win the prize rather than to just dress as a woman. Different times ig but def transphobic IMOmakes u wonder why Disney continuously promotes n gets away with so much covert negative content

The eating disorder jokes on So Random and Shake It Up pissed me off. Eating disorders can literally kill you. At the height of my eating disorder, my longest period was 2 days if I got lucky because I was malnourished. It's a serious thing and it's not something to joke about.

I think the So Random sketch was also controversial and eventually banned from being rebroadcasted is because the character was a bad (and somewhat offensive) caricature of Australians. The accent and delivery was bad and was highly stereotypical.
