Looper You need to rewatch the Quantum Leap finale. It DIDN'T say that Sam never met Al due to fixing his situation. It said the exact OPPOSITE! It said that Al continued to try to bring Sam back home, but never succeeded. Sam was told, toward the end of the finale, that he could go home whenever he CHOSE to. But Sam refused to believe it! THAT'S the ripoff to viewers like me! Bellasario wanted to give us the happy ending that was promised. But the network refused to allow it!
And you left out the Sliders finale! We were AGAIN promised a happy ending. In the last episode, the psychic leader of the utopia to which they slid told the Sliders that they WOULD reach home on their next slide and all DIE. Everyone except the black singer stayed. He took a chance on surviving due to the loophole of sliding alone, instead of sliding with the group. The black singer was also the only ORIGINAL slider left in the series.

You got it wrong. Nothing about The Prisoner was awful. Think about it. From the beginning, the answer was there and its just about punctuation.

The god theme of BSG was VERY OVERT through the entire run of the series. Divine intervention, both good and bad happens repeatedly and the phrase god has a plan for us all is used by the Toasters constantly. How this escaped anyone is beyond me. Still one of my favorite series, and I do re-watch it every few years. I guess given the bleakness of it, a happy ending was the real shock.

In fairness to heroes there was a writers strike during season 2 which changed things, i think it started to go downhill the minute arthur petrelli took all peter petrellis powers, thats when it went to shit for me, then hiro loses his neither gets there powers back at least not properly anyway, season 4 was alright, but for me big mistake not giving peter his power back and hiro

When it comes to life on Mars I love the ending, it fit with the whole you don't really know what is going on. I mean would you have rather he wake up on a spaceship going to mars or something?
I also like the ending to Battlestar Galactica, the only thing I don't like is the lack of an explanation for starbuck.

In battlestar they tried to allude to God being an ancient progenitor machine. The angels like kara and 6 were supposed to be ancient cylons. I think it fixes the issues with the ding when you take that interpretation of God. Instead of the god of the Christians.

What's hilarious to me, is I figured out Lost after season 2 that it is as pergatory. I figured it out 4 yrs before the final season which is why I stopped watching after my suspicions were confirmed in season 3. Sometimes, being a writer ruins a series lol

Quantum leaps ending wasn t bleak. Sam chooses to continue helping people at the heroic cost of his own life. The show makes clear that it s God sending him on these missions, which he s aware of. He s basically an angel. Looper just don t get it

The ending of lost revealed that the island was purgatory and they finally moved on to heaven, it's not that complicated and it wasn't that Disappointing, in fact the ending was in very disappointing at all. Go home Looper your drunk

Yup I knew lost was on here. Season 1 was incredible, 2 was just ok, 3 was a bit better than 2. 4 smacked you in the face with sheer brilliance and 5 might have been nearly as good as 4. 6 was ehhhh.
