The Episode IX Rumor That Raises Some Serious Concerns Nick: When the prequels were first released they weren't hated, it was over time that the hate grew but since the new trilogy has been so disappointing people are reevaluating and finally seeing the areas of brilliance in the prequels that the new trilogy doesn't have. Episode 3 was one of the best Star Wars films released and Episode 1 was able to reignite fan interest in the franchise, even Episode 2 introduced interesting history to characters such as the Stormtroopers and Obi Wan whilst exploring worlds not shown before. Everything in the new trilogy is just a poor replication of the elements from past films that worked. Episode 8 gave a different perspective to the worlds shown and changed the pacing of what a Star Wars film is known for, but unfortunately it threw out what JJ was building towards. If JJ had kept control of all three of the new movies they might not be was great as the past films but there would be a sense of continuation instead of distance between the films.

Kathleen Kennedy had in her hands one of the cultural icons of the last century and was told by Disney Make lots of money. It took only 3 years under her leadership for a Star Wars movie to bomb at the box office (unthinkable a decade ago) and for half the fan-base to hate the new films. whom she then antagonises by calling them all man-babies and that she doesn't care about the white male audience members, all while her watermelon-headed underling nods his heads and defies expectations by making a shit star wars movie. 3 years, that's all it took. Just 3 years in and people are already talking about Star Wars fatigue, while Marvel, after 10 years and dozens of films, has fans excited for its next set of films.
It's actually impressive just how staggeringly incompetent the new Star Wars run has been handled, really, when you think about it. To kill the golden goose in just 3 years takes momentous retardation, but there it is.

All I know is it'll be better than 8! Sorry but I just can't even begin to fathom how it could be any worse than TLJ! Unless the emporer randomly came back as a woman that then brought Han solo back from the dead but as a Pomeranian while Leia uses the force to get the resistance onto another planet without any ship and. you know what? I'm literally pulling the worst ideas I can come up with out of my ass and it's STILL sounding more entertaining than TLJ! I doubt it's gonna be anything special as JJs probably gonna need to spend 1-2 hours of this 2. 5 hour movie just course correcting the mistakes of the last film, but I KNOW it's already better than TLJ Herp Derp! But it's not finished how can it already be better! Exactly! Even an unfinished movie is better than 8

Now after the republic got saved, it's time for a massive onslaught by a superior enemy coming from a galaxy even futher away. Something like a Borg invasion (or species 8472. Because at the end of the day it's Star Wars, an endless war among the stars. The republic at the brink of destruction, in its despair building new superweapons like Death Stars. But this time to defend herself from an alien invasion rather than turning it against her own people like in the past. And of course there has to be treason and betrayal among the allies which makes survival even more complicated. a narrative for 6 more dark, action packed, entertaining and thrilling episodes is born.

What made Star Wars so great was that when the first trilogy came out episode 4 Episode 5 and 6 they all came out at a good time when technology wasn't so great and it was more about the playability of things and they had that Jim Henson sci-fi kind of happy times feel, now they are too much like Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones and the fun has been taken out of Star Wars. I mean I remember all the shops being stocked with Star Wars figures and toys and you don't see that anymore!

I was done with Star Wars when they announced Episode 7 and giving the directors carte blanche to do whatever they wanted. There was so much they could have worked on, a rich history of the Jedi and Sith that could have made amazing films, but they chose to ignore all that.
With all the troubles. I'll be very surprised if episode 9 actually turns out to be a good film, there is a lot to do in a short space of time, I don't think they'll be able to pull it off.

Having trashed the whole mystique and mythology of the entire concept in the 'Last Jedi' and always killing off the most interesting characters the Star Wars galaxy is devoid of further interest or meaning and the theme is exhausted - Who would have thought you could do that to Star Wars - 'The Last Half Dozen or So Rebels' is the only logical tittle for the next one, but few will go whatever they call it - So sad, what a waste!

For Disney/licasfilm information. Im down for something new in Star Wars, but dont do what Ruin Roundhead Johnson did. Instead of the second empire, why not just have foreign aliens from another galaxy come to invade the galaxy the series takes place. Everything that happened in ten sequels just basically outdid everything that happened in the OT. Give us something new, and not a remake of the OT.

Well, they should think to make episode 9 felling less like a Return Of The Jedi remake because the episode 6 is consider as been the weakest movie from the original trilogy. So episode 9 have to not make the same mistakes. I know rumors about that episode 9 will try to add all trilogy together, including prequels, so there is stuff to use. But another Death Star could feel too repetitive.

Looper. If you base anything on what Mike 0 says. Well he said that Rey was going to turn to the dark side and that Kylo was going to turn back to the light side and that Episode Nine was going to have to be Luke and Kylo trying to turn Rey back to the light side. He also said that Luke was going to have an epic battle with Snoke. The man is just like his last name. A big 0
