The town Derry in Maine is based of Bangor maine you can tell by in one of the later scenes there is a statue in the park where the kids are of a man with a beard and plaid shirt that is a real statue in Bangor maine where Steven king lives now giving away that derry is really supposed to be Bangor

When the battles starts in the sewer with Pennywise. We can see a brief talk that Billy has to Gorgie. and Bily ended up shooting him in the notice of Gorgie being Pennywise
Also, way back to the start of this movie, Gorgie loses the boat and say Oh no! Bill's gonna kill me. Which is like a teaser for what comes up in the end
But thats just a theory, it may not be true

There is also another easter egg involving the painting scenes of 1408 and IT. Both paintings can't be straightened out and attack the protagonist. Also, Pennywise's Spider form is remarkably similar to the illustrations of the Dark Tower's Crimson King.

The burning hands reaching at Mike through the door HAS to be a nod to the army barracks fire Mikes dad barely escaped and the other people he witnessed trapped and burning inside. If I remember correctly, that haunted Mikes dad for the rest of his life.

Just saying that its not werewolf claws or hand because if you look closely you can see that the skin on the hand is green and has scales what Im thinking is that maybe it is showing a bit of the spider form but its definitely not the werewolf

Hey no offense but the most scariest or the first Pennywise made the only reason why is because it was the first one and there was no more until then but the first one was actually even scarier when it came first
