Had that exact toaster growing up! The white levers were all yellowed though. My dad smoked by the stove because he used the exhaust fan. Toaster right next to the stove. One of my chores was to clean all the tar out of the kitchen off the walls, and ceiling fan. Different time back then. Lol hearing you say in your videos about things being covered in smoke smell. That's just nostalgia for me. Ha ha love you thrift series. Haven't sat down and watched them in a while. Now I'm binge watching them. I think I've watched like 12 today. Happy New Year!

That Ms. Pac-Man game was a _steal_ too. I happen to have a very rare Agetec PSX game.

i used to get those old organs when i was young, they were cool but died quick. also i think i used to have a old packard bell, it was odd, and i can't seem to find another one like it. it had a square power button but a green upside down triangle button. it had windows 3. 11 on it, but the monitor stopped working and my parents thought it was completely dead so they took it to the good will close to me, and it was never seen again, this happened years and years ago.

you are so lucky, my Goodwill stores here in Virgina or at least the one in Bedford don't actually sell anything computer related they send them straight to dell or maybe it was hp. i can't remember but they get paid for it and kinda defeats the purpose of Goodwill. and the only other tech that show up are rarely those floor record stereo players.

2: 00 That's an old electric -air- organ. You plugged them in and it pushed air through the keys to produce the sounds. It gave it a very ethereal sound. I used to love playing on my grandma's air organ she kept in the basement. and no, that's not a euphemism, you dirty minded trolls.

I'm surprised because all the Goodwill's I've been too in the past 5 years never sell computers (and I can see why, privacy reason and liability if someone leaves something on the computer such as confidential information. I mean they used to 10-20 years ago, but not any more.

Norelco was the name Philips used for all their electronics sold in the U. S. thanks to the similar-sounding company Philco being around. But once they ceased to exist, they were allowed to be branded Philips, but kept the Norelco name for their electric shavers.

Like most Linux users I like Keyboards without the Windows key. I have one for my Raspberry Pi 4 but my Mint is on a dual boot laptop and my EndeavourOS is on an old Dell Studio. If you ever come across a viable laptop without a Windows Key please let me know.

Neat thing now is you can use that reel to reel tape machine even though it may not support the speed of the reels you want to play on it. Simply capture the music at the wrong speed into your computer and use software to correct the speed.

I'm pretty sure that fake grass you were rubbing your hands on is for tiny, apartment-bound dogs as a kind of doggie litter box you can put out on a veranda. Had a friend who wanted one of those if I remember right.
