My favourite captain by a mile, god I loved TNG and was gutted when it finished. They could've easily made 2 or 3 more seasons of it.
I've watched the whole series loads of times over now.
Don't think Picard will be as good as TNG, and I'm expecting this to be very different, but if Patrick said he's happy with it, that will be enough for me.

I have the utmost respect for Stewarts acting ability, especially on stage. However, his political views and confidence in Kimmel providing anything of value to anyone is disappointing.
