Or just buy a cheaper Canon R5 and buy an Atomos Ninja V external monitor that records externally. This eliminates the over heating issues, gives you massive and cheaper methods of recording data while still being cheaper than the C70. Onto of that, the R5 is an outstanding still camera (which the C70 isn't) and it has superior AI recognition of the human body as well as animals, locks in on the head and focuses on the human or animal's eye.

watching this now and I am so glad I got the c70 instead of the Komodo for my work. The new RAW feature and other updates on the C70 certainly has make this camera a beast for all the indie shooters out there.

I remember the c300. went into showcase atlanta (before they shut down) and checked it out alongside some 50-60k lenses. Was amazing. But more amazing how far we've come. especially for $5500.

The canon is an excellent run and gun camera. But me being more of a high-end film guy prefers the red.
