It's like Blizzard just completely skipped the phase where Grom earns his redemption so all we got was the beginning and the end of the story without a middle.
Then with Shadowlands, we get the end of the Jailer's story but with no beginning and no middle. Blizzard please. The beloved characters of Warcraft had thoroughly written stories, we got to watch Arthas evolve from young man that wanted to help to villain, we got to watch Illidan's struggle between his lust for power and his desire to see the Legion's fall. We even got to watch Garrosh as his arc grew and his character made sense. Grom suddenly being a hero makes no sense, at all.

I have no context for Denathrius since I quit playing wow at the start of WoD and didn't come back until Dragonflight dropped (and even that was mostly just me playing classic and leveling a bunch of alts on retail just to experience all the various zones and unlock the allied races + get transmog stuff, but tbh the whole vampiric elf motif looked kinda cool, especially with all the red magic.
That gave me an idea though. Blizzard should create a vampire/blood mage class. It would be really hard to balance them for pvp im sure, since they would be built all around life steal probably, but it could be done, just let them go ahead and have their -DK spotlight- moment where they are godlike for a few months, DKs got it, Monks got it, hell EVERYONE has had several turns being unstoppable over the years. Red magic is just unbelievably cool imo, idc if it's blood or -life- or just raw destruction energy like it was in elder scrolls (oblivion has a few destruction and restoration spells that are based around direct damage or absorption of major attributes and stats, those spells are all red, and those swords those guys were swinging around are awesome looking.

So you are telling me Arthas a human fallen paladin managed to overpower Jailers a Sargeras level threats influence and used Jailer powers to his likings and managed to lose to half beaten tyrion who got one shotted by a weak raid boss, Bolvar just sit there for like solid 6 expensions because he said jailer was too powerfull and if he did a single mistake jailer would just took control. Perfect story telling blizzard, bait your entire fandom little by little with cinematics and in game lore and trick them to believe he will have his redemption or judgement for whole expension just to made him fade away in whisp form without a single word to his mentor or lover.

N-zoth was such wasted potential for future content. Blizzard clearly ran out of ideas to keep the whole Alliance vs Horde war idea in mind for an entire expansion so they threw in this long epic tale of an old god in and ruined it in one patch update. All we literally did was zap him with a necklace and thats it? What a complete bs ending for a LITERAL GOD. If Blizzard had half a brain to leave N-zoth out of the game for a bit longer we probably could-ve gotten an entire Black Empire style expansion instead. Personally imo this was a terrible call by Blizzard-s view on content/story progression.

And i bulid space arc for swiming on all azeroth, when IT will be underwater. Just like thounsound needels on cacatlysm.

edit: with all seriousness though, i really hope Blizzard expands the warcraft lore to include something like a back in time warp, or alternate timeline where the major characters they killed off like king varian and vol'jin reappearing alive and well, cause blizzard really did those two characters dirty af. They died like little wimps imo, and thats not right in my book.

I'm glad I didn't have to play years and years of WoW to see all these cinematics, but I also envy those who played and got to experience them ingame. I stopped playing mid-first expansion because I hated the shattered lands, started playing again when Cataclysm was released to see the world shattered, but it was never again the same experience.
I want to play it, but I know I won't like it.

Tyrion then decides to make a massive monument in a high traffic area that shows what happened in detail to anyone who touches it.
I have to figure the only reason Bolvar didnt facepalm at hypersonic speeds was the ice sealing him in.

they gave valerion this horribly painful and agonizing death, yet they cant allow sylvanus to get anything more than a tiny scratch. how about some equality in action against female characters? id love to see Greymane tear sylvanus apart limb by limb while she screams in agonizing pain.

I quit very early in SL bc I was so pissed at the whole expansion. The story, forcing you to choose a covenant, all the systems meant to exploit fomo. There are some cool tmogs I-d like to go unlock, but I don-t want to step foot into the shadowlands. It-s still too fresh. Maybe in a couple of years if I-m still playing

Bolvar's acceptance of being the new Lich King was amazing, and Shadowlands gave me one last bit of hope for helping what remained of Arthas. Too bad Blizzard's retarded modern writers shat on both, because Blizzard has to keep its -equity- scores high, which means the utter forsaking of talent.

I will continue to say it. Blizzard fumbled the ball by not giving Tyrion Fordring the freakin' Judgement Armor to defeat Arthas. I don't even remember what that Paladin set is called that he wears but it's crap.

They should have skipped Pandaria and WoD and ended it at Legion in my opinion. Would have been an awesome game. The power creep makes it impossible to take any villian or threat -seriously- anymore. Showbizz I guess

Not bad, but basically any DK with PvP gear would have ended your reign of terror by AMSing to prevent the Ignite DoT application. Likely could have killed that 300k HP Mage in a global.
