I really love what this does for the story arc of Sylvanas. To show that deep inside she is tormented by the actions of the Banshee who 'wears her face'. It shows the deep fractures and ruin that has led to Sylvanas' current state and just how she could go to such lengths of hypocrisy to stand against everything she stood for, everything she fought against, and caused arguably a terrible, horrifying alternate parallel between herself and Tyrande, minus Tyrande becoming a Banshee. but still suffering from the pain, wrath, and horror caused by someone so dark they could execute innocents in mass. Sylvanas is such a complex character and probably one of my favorites for that very reason. She is an icon from a Blizzard long past, long gone, that will likely never return.

They cannot decide whether arthas was good or not, Uther said there some left of the arthas that's holding back the scourge, which makes sense since he held frostmourn to revenge what the dreadlord did, then he disappeared, came back as lich king, but then took control of the helmet and since then passed 2 expansions to it become a problem.
Later on Calia just come to: -oh his choices were his own- come on, decide what you trying to tell.

You know I can-t helped but feel bad for Sylvanas. The true Sylvanas. Watching her true soul see the Burning of Teldrassil gave me chills man. Her entire life and death she-s spent it being screwed over by everything and everyone. What-s worse is that she-s alone in it all. I admit I have disliked Sylvanas for awhile but I actually liked this, The Banshee Queen was only a damaged sliver of her true self and from watching her arguing with herself you can see she'd not have gone down this path if she'd been whole. Also why not dominated by the jailor she was influenced by his lies and once she realized he had no intention of setting anyone free she made the right choice.

Everything that-s wrong with this specifically stems from them blowing their -wad- too early with Wrath. Arthas and Sargares are the Motivators and faction War is the preoccupation. Arthas fell within 4 years and was by far the most important villain they had and Sargares felt cheese balled. Not sure how they dig themselves out of this.

Wtaf! What's the point of Uther warning Sylvanas if she is the Banshee Queen under the Jailor's control and not Sylvanas the high elf! He would have known, by being betrayed himself by the Jailor, that such efforts are futile; that by warning her, he warned the Jailor himself! Horrible writing!

While I never even touched WoW. I grew up with WC3 and the FT.
I find this story fascinating. I'm glad I get some history after that beautiful RTS that I lived through.
