It feels like Mediv went on like a lunatic to Terenas and Antonidas. He could have referenced the undead showing up, etc, or even the fact he was a resurrected mage (everyone, especially dalaran, should have remembered him)
With Thrall he visited him in dreams and made a much more appealing argument.

Medivh needs a lesson in presentation skills. Consistently fails to establish credibility, relevance, and ambiguity of -Why- to the subject at hand.
