What is interesting about this expansion is two of the main characters, Sylvanas and Jaina. Sylvanas lost her life, her home, her sisters, and she is looking for purpose. I believe her only reason to live currently is to create Forsaken and she is using the Horde to destroy everything. She has fallen. I am not the biggest fan of how they have written her character, it is too much like Garrosh using the Horde/Iron Horde to take over Azeroth. Jaina has lost her both of her homes, her family (at least up until now when her mother let her return, her love, her friends, every alliance she has every tried to form, and she lost her teacher. She spent years trying to build an alliance with the Horde and just like that the Garrosh shows up and destroys everything she built. She almost drowned Orgrimmar after they bombed Theramore if you read Tides of War. Jaina I believe has suffered much more than Sylvanas but she has managed to overcome her trials. She has been one of my favorites.

Let me tell you what. I think they-re going to bring back Arthas. They brought back Illidan and I think they-ll do the same thing with Arthas. They-ll pluck his soul out of whatever torment realm he is in now or we-ll have to put his soul back together but I think they-re making all these call backs to Arthas for a reason with this scene, Jaina-s character development, And remaking WC3. I think they-ll bring him back and he-ll be a paladin like he was, and on top of all of that, the alliance just retook Lordaeron again. So If they did bring him back he-d be the rightful king. Maybe they-ll bring him back to kill Sylvannas, maybe Anduin will resurrect him like he did with his sister, idk. But I REALLY hope they redeem Arthas. He was such a good Character

What I think would make an interesting twist is if in the Shadowland's someone's trying to redeem and/or revive Arthas and he's trying to stay in suffering because he honestly does not believe he deserves it only the Arthas from before Frostmourne, maybe even from before Stratholme, is dominant. So someone like Jaina, for instance, could be struggling with the choice and we're just trying to keep the Arthas from after those two events, maybe he got split from the rest when he took up that blade, like what was left of the Arthas Jaina knew got removed from his own body and someone else was stuffed back in or something, from coming back.

She shouldn't have stopped Varian at Undercity. Lordaeron would be reclaimed looong ago.
She shouldn't have left her father's side. She literally let horde animals sack her own city.
She should have watched Arthas do what had to be done. Arthas would definitely be alive now and Lordaeron would have never been lost.
She should have flooded the orgrimmar and sink that garbageyard to the bottom of the ocean to avenge Rhonin and hundreds of lives lost at theramore.
She must regret at the same time stay strong.

I sincerely hope they bring Arthas back in some way. Maybe like they did with Illidan or something but he-s redeemed and becomes a paladin again and restores Lordaeron with Jaina by his side. I love the backstory with those two. Please Blizzard do something with it. GIVE US WHAT WE WANT

i really dislike how they don't keep consistent with characters' past outfits. Their appearences were iconic. Everytime a new armor model is made for a character, Bliz practically retcons every outfit they've ever worn and pretend that they have -always- worn their new stuff.

I actually have a mate who survived the Blizzard cull.
According to him, there is a plan for Arthas, however that particular model might be being used in the WC3 Remake cutscenes.

I really liked the alliance bfa story. I know people don't like bfa but I honestly had a great time with a buddy of mine. kul'tirass is such a beautiful city and Jaina's story was compelling. also my worgan rogue looks damn fine in his pirate duds.
