You forgot one item. go pro support. There is none. I have been on the phone for hours trying to get help. All I get is poor english and lack of product knowledge. They are reading the computer screen just like you can. There are too many other alternatives to the go pro. Why put up with their insults at high prices. (I refuse to give go pro the honor of referring to these clowns by their logo)

For a motorcyclist with gloves. the Garmin Virb touchscreen is much easier to handle with gloves, it's not about how the design looks like, as you said -crunky and slow- it's really ways better for motorcyclists. The Go Pro 5 touchscreen -buttons- are to small, you have to take your gloves off and in the rain. just forget it! Hope to help some bikers out there.

Awesome review! Only thing I disagree with is the opinion that the audio quality is -close- between the Hero 5 Black and the Garmin. To me, Hero 5 Black wins that hands down, and it isn't even close. Garmin sounds -tinny- and unrefined. Hero 5 Black is fuller and more realistic. Thanks for a great review!

GoPro Audio is better? are u kidding? just listen to your own recordings in this video! . they ( GPs) sound like you are standing next to a highway with heavy traffic and beware of touching them while recording! you will get crazy artefact sounds. Is this supposed to be an unbiased review?

Does anyone knows if the shell/case from the session 5 fits the session 1? I have a session 1 and I want to buy a few spare cases in case(no pun intended) I break the one 1 have.

Dude that was the best product review I've ever seen in my life. Everything was on point the crispiness of the video and the foreign languages. - Excellent work!

Hi Brent, if you get the goproHero5 and they come out with a newer version, will it update (I-m so torn with the sensors/data the garmin can overlay)

terrible review. nothing about comparing hero 5 session audio with hero 5 black audio, and no mention of removable battery on hero 5 black.
