I’ll admit, I’ve never really thought about this before. I believe the instantaneous velocity vector of a planet in any solar system is a function of its mass, the mass of the star it orbits, and the distance from that star. The closer and more massive the planet the faster the instantaneous speed must be in order to not fall in to the star. So if the planets were reversed large planets closer and small planets further the larger planets would really have to be moving. On the other hand our planetary speed would decrease so our year would be much longer AND it would be out of an inhabitable zone as Earth would be pretty cold. If we could live on one of the bigger planets it would completely change Evolution and everything else. It’s also the case that, even if we evolved to be intelligent, it’s unlikely we could build rockets that could escape the planet’s escape velocity. It would be very strange and life probably wouldn’t exist.

This video does implicitly say that life evolving on any planet is beyond tricky. There are so many variables that must be met that, if you were to choose any planet in the Universe at random, and looked for life there, the odds are so close to zero you may as well not bother. I do think that life in the Universe is rare. It’s highly unlikely that life only exists on Earth but I think so-called scientists Drake comes to mind immediately absolutely overestimate the number of planets in the Universe with life. It’s probably partially why we haven’t found any other life in the Universe yet, simply because it’s probably rare. And that’s just getting life started in the first place.

In my opinion, instead of waging war, humanity should focus on technological progress and on colonizing other planets, before an asteroid or other catastrophe hits the earth and erases us forever. For example, a good candidate could be Titan, I also made a video about it

Watching solarballs and then this, this is interesting, solarballs only explored the order from the smallest to the biggest. Earth was suffering in Mars's orbit already (experiening ice age, if it was the other way around, Earth would be an iceball.
