Plus if you did that there are some people that drive on the right side and some countries drive on the left side so it would have to be a situation of the lanes would have to crisscross at some point because let's say you're going from San Francisco to Japan in San Francisco USA we drive on the right and in Japan they drive on the left so the lanes would have to Criss Cross at some point

I think the bridge is just not feasible. Anyway shipping can access two ports and after that land routes can take care. The same happens with rail bridges. Ships can carry more cargo.
And people have flights to take them. Why waste car and more fuel.
This idea is just more damage to the environment

Couldn't said it better myself. Also don't forget if it days days to travel from another state like New York to California then how much speed would you need to go to the other side? Say. 500mph at best. To reach Greenland from hmm. Baltimore to there. Too much driving. It'll be straight up a nightmare.

The longest man made bridge ever to be built is the Adams Bridge (Lord RAMA Setu Bridge) nearly 7000 yrs ago from South India to Srilanka. This bridge is no more there but there are lots of evidence regarding it. It would be nice if the above would also be explained by U -----

For building such long bridges humans would need to use a hell lot of resources just for making the bridge and a hell lot would be used up for covering such distances. so i prefer the aerial mode of transportation.

Wouldn-t make sense to build a bridge for cars. Would probably be a good idea for high speed trains, but again transportation and shipping costs would be outrageous compared to flying or boating.

0: 58 It's not northern India, these bridge are in north-eastern states of India.
In North we have Kashmir and fight with Pakistan and China.
