Sorry, but it won't work - for instance, when EU introduced new environmental laws which putted responsibility on corporations, they just moved to China and India. This way, EU got rid of 1 tonne of CO2, but China produced 2 tonnes more.
In other words: if you put responsibility to corporations, they won't stop what they're doing, but just move somewhere where they can produce how much they desire. It's better to keep them in our countries, which have still more restrictive environmental limits than China.
So, what will those limits change? Only thing they've done in Europe was economical downturn and destroyed industry (which moved to China. You can say that beautiful ideas, that corporations are destroying the world, but something you should -really- take care of is national debt. Without money you can forget about reducing CO2, methane, or whatever else, otherwise you're gonna starve your own people.
Only thing you should -really- do is make sure Chinese industry won't be able to make profit put of it - so just stop buying Chinese things and buy something from your home country. Whether it is a food, or a furniture, just make sure it's been produced where you live. You will reduce unemployment in your country and money will stay there. And beside, local food has less preservatives and is, in a nutshell, healthier.

Nuclear energy if managed carefully and with strict safety regulations, could be a good way of reducing our dependency on coal, oil and natural gas, whilst mitigating the effects of climate change. Energy from nuclear power plants could also recharge electric cars.
Reason being is that nuclear power plants generate far more energy than any coal power plant could ever do and they don't create CO2 emissions. It'd be a great way of being able to meet our energy requirements without the need for oil & gas, or creating additional CO2 emissions.

This video says corporations are making money burning oil while we pay the price, that's not how it works at all, they are making money extracting oil and selling it to us so we can burn it and reap the rewards of doing so, which we do, but not without consequences. Stop blaming corporations for oil related issues, those issues are the doing of almost all of us. Easy to blame companies as if they were some sentient invincible entity when most of us can't and won't accept living without the commodities we enjoy. But people won't do anything, since we all agree companies are the only villian here and we all are poor victims that can't be held responsible for anything.

This is so dumb I want to know what happens if we burn all the oil it is all dirty as humans to get the oil out of the ground and we get it back into the atmosphere before we have the garden of Eden. All the oil was plants and animals at one time. Oil came when God wape out garden Eden.

The problem is that there aren't too many substitutes. Oil is used for too many things we depend on. Energy is only one thing. The only real workable substitute for fossil fuels is nuclear power for energy.
