What I think the Brits don't get is that there are a whole lot more Americans and to us, Diana was a Queen and should have become the next Queen if Charles hadn't had her run out of town so he could be with Camilla, who didn't outshine him. He hated so much that Diana outshone him without even trying to at all, just in doing her duty as required, she connected with people in ways he never could and it maddened him. So she was cast out and then hounded by the paps to her death. No one protected her in the end. William now, is far too much like his father, removed and uninterested and uninteresting. Neither will really make a good King if progressing their society is anything Brits are at all interested in. And Kate, is incoherent and only shows up when required. She never seeks out places to be of good use as Diana did, and Meghan and Harry did. But, alas, they ran H&M out of town too for outshining Charles, Wills, and Kate and for essentially doing what Diana did and finding ways to really make a difference in people's lives. Can't have that apparently. So Americans LOVE Diana and Harry and Meghan because they were the only ones who actually cared about the people they are supposed to serve. They made a difference and Americans appreciate that service and we're delighted to have H&M here doing good works. It's Britain's loss that's for certain. But hey, in another 100 years, they'll still be putting on costumes for irrelevant ceremonies costing millions while just standing there instead of actually doing something that makes your country better and progressing and solving its problems. I do hope you remember then that you had the chance for something much better and cast it aside, killing one and nearly killing the other two, and damning your society evermore to sit stagnant and out of touch, trapped in time that was centuries ago and didn't even progress you then. The territories are ditching the Queen so fast these days and becoming Independent. Time to wake up over there before there's nothing left of the empire but your tiny little island, alone after Brexit and the defection of all the extended territories. Good luck with that.

She was so loved and respected here in US. From the very beginning HM the Queen was threatened by Diana's very existence. so much so, that in ( 80's) Princess Margaret told Di NEVER OUT SHINE the Queen! In UK she was mocked for her beauty, they called her the princess Barbie etc. Upon her death however the ppl of UK and the world grieved her untimely death like no other Royal or person on earth. There has never been or will ever be another Diana. Without question, beautiful inside and out, so beloved. Thank you Diana for your love and humanity. We shall forever remember and love you.

A compassionate and intelligent woman, so badly used by a jealous man. She had a premonition she would die in an auto accident. Prince William has the good wishes of the world. Just do not repeat Father's mistakes. Would be a lethal mistake. Father possibly may be nice now, but not his usual and customary attitude. All best wishes for your, your wife's and children's future siccesses.

The incredible suffering in her life, losing her mother to divorce then her husband's rejection created in her the compassion for others suffering. I think it is very sad that the royal family with all their wealth and power had such fragile egos that she represented such a threat to their popularity, from the queen being upstaged by Diana's HAIR STYLES, really. to Charles not being as popular with the public as she was. very sad, and almost funny.

We ask governments in all countries to unite the bridge pillars as high as one or two meters so that if a car hits a bridge support, it can still slide not as badly as a car crashes into a bridge pillar so that an accident hitting a pillar like what happened to Princess Diana does not happen again

Diana May be the uncrowned Queen but she will always be the Queen of hearts to all who knew her and never be forgotten who touched many hearts wherever she went. She brought life back to the palace when she married Charles. She was more of a Queen than the Queen herself

Diana should be sainted. Dont believe all the lies about her. I. e. She was crazy, paranoid, etc. Charles and Camilla drove her to jealousy which brings out the worst in anyone. Imagine, a 19 year old marrying a 30 going on 60 year old with an overbearing mistress.

Yes she has certainly gotten her rewards in heaven. It heartbreaking that Camilla will have her place as queen. It should have gone to William and Katherine. Their character is spotless and worthy of the praise.

I still could cry about Diana. I'm american, but I loved her too. She didn't deserve the life and death she got because of Charles and Camilla. She was such a wonderful person and so beautiful inside and out.

It is strange that Dianas brother made the sign of the cross, as far as I knew it they were Anglican? Was Diana raised as catholic? MM had to convert to marry prince Harry, just wonder.

I think MM longed to be like Diana so much she made sure the royal family would not like her. One more way to feel like she is Diana also. No comparison between the two women.
