I've never intend to reject anyone, but I do find it hard to trust others, which has been making it difficult to open up and act on what's been on my mind.
I could say other's have been irresponsible with me, but I'm just as responsible for this world's problems as anyone I've met.
It feels like we all want love, power, and control over the chaos which keeps us falling apart and making irresponsible decisions. I just don't know how we're going to get there alone.
When I'm not with someone I love, sometimes it feels like I never deserved them in the first place.
I miss everyone I've ever met and the people I miss the most are constant reminders of who I wish I was more like. Maybe someday, we'll meet in the middle of it all.
More than anything, I regret being dishonest about my own feelings, but I'm learning to have faith that we are all dedicated to learning to be the best we can, not just for ourselves, but for everything that matters. We might be competitive in the ways we we're raised, but we also have the capacity to give that power back to the less fortunate, eliminate the chaos which keeps us from connection with others, and find true love wherever and with whoever we choose.
My problem with boundaries and moving on is that people usually set them when they misunderstand how I feel, and that makes it so much more difficult for me to relate. I'm not blaming anyone for doing so. I've made the same mistake out of fear others don't feel the same way about me.

We went on a few dates together and were great friends besides that. I talked to her about things that I usually kept to myself and she could make topics like makeup seem super interesting to me. We would get each other little gifts all the time, go kayaking, get smoothies, go to concerts, we were even planning to travel out of the country together I had been playing it safe until I felt we were ready to date, and I knew we both needed more time to be sure. But that didn’t prepare me for the way things fell apart. She betrayed me one night and left me totally embarrassed. She started hiding behind her singleness instead of facing the problem. I cried myself to sleep about it for 6 months, and I still have to wrestle with the emotions, but I dove deeper into my hobbies and found new ones like dancing. So I would add to this list, keep your body moving, and try to see their flaws. It can feel wrong to point out this person’s flaws, but you only need to do so in your head, and your healing is most important. It’s worth mentioning that I have great friends who helped me through this, too. A year and a half later, I still love and miss her, and I don’t know if I’m ready to move on, but I’m managing. I even have some good days here and there.

After my relationship with my first girlfriend, (who I had obtained via normal ways such as getting to know her and be friends with her first) I became obsessed with wanting another one. The feeling of having that type of relationship was something I knew I needed in my life, mainly to help with my emotional insecurities and make me feel less lonely. However I became obsessed with having that type of relationship again which caused me to act erratically such as being awkward, needy and sometimes even a bit creepy. I still feel bad for how I acted back then. With hindsight though, many of the girls I was interested in were either not interested in me in that way at all, or the relationship definitely wouldn't have worked out if one had started. There was one though that I still have a feeling could've worked which really hurt for a while as she was the most joy filled person I had ever known period. Now however, due to my insecurities and mental problems being quite complicated, I'm glad they all chose not to get together with me. I wouldn't have wanted my problems to affect their way of life. I have a girlfriend now though which helps things hurt less, and gratefully she's very understanding of me and my emotional difficulties.

Almost a year ago I fell for a girl I met at school and at the time she was single. I was attracted to her once I met her. Her and I started to find a lot in common and that was when I was very confused about my feelings for her. I hate the fact I remember the specific day, but my best friend asked me if I was into this guy I was talking to for awhile, on April 15th of last year which made me realised I didn't and liked the girl I met at school. April 15th was also the day the guy I was talking to cut me off. Over a month, on June 12th I got extreme butterflies in my stomach from this girl and I realised I had feelings for her. Let's just say I still haven't gotten over her. If I tell her how I feel I'm afraid she's gonna think of me differently and I can't anyways because she met someone else. I know I sound pathetic, but once I caught feelings for her I was angry and guilty with myself because I knew it was wrong. I mean she became like a best friend to me before I caught feelings, and yes I do still have feelings for her, but I still want her in my life

Just previously I stopped crushing on a former classmate I met in high school. When I last saw him, I managed to ask him out for coffee and he responded that he would message me through Twitter. When he did respond 2 weeks later, he already has a girlfriend but appreciated my confidence to ask him. My mom helped me respond back with a meaningful message implying that it would be nice to have coffee with him as friends because he was really nice to me when we met. I initially didn't know how to respond when he first said that because there was something off about the way he worded it. After time had passed, I actually took his rejection as a favor on my behalf. I made the realization that being single the whole time has helped me shape up my own character development throughout my college life. I actually felt free in a way after I stopped crushing on him because I'm able to keep focusing on what I want. The thought of staying single made me feel a lot better because I honestly think having a relationship would distract me.

As a person who experienced unexpected situationships several times, I think that distancing yourself from that person will help u to move on. I used to feel angry, low self-esteemed, questioning my self worth a lot when I know the person I had feelings for and thought he feel the same turned out to be wrong. I questioned and blamed myself a lot for how easy I was to fall into someone, I was angry to him and also myself. But when experiencing again and again, I think I feel a bit easier to control and face to this thing. And i just wanna say that u don't have to blame urself or anyone. Also u dont have to put urself on their shoes if at that time u cannot. I think distancing, boundaries and reflection work the most. And just spend time to understand yourself will help u deal with the situation. And loving someone genuinely is precious and shouldn't be taken for granted.

Sooo this girl very clearly liked me, but i didnt do anything cuz a another girl i was talking to told me she was moving away. And i was stuck in limbo with this other cause we were still talking but it was clear nothing was gonna happen cause she was moving away. Anyway the first girl got herself a boyfriend that is in my eyes not good enough for her. For like 4 months now i have regreted not makin a move when i had the chance. I still see her at uni and we are friendly, but she doesnt flirt at all with me anymore (another green flag, she stopped as soon as she got a bf. Through our talks at uni i still get the feeling we would be a good match.
Ps - she recently (in front of me of all people) said to her girls she is considered leaving him because he didnt reject this girl that was flirting with him and asked my opinion as a guy on it

I can relate to this big time. There was a girl at my work who I really liked and had a ton in common with. She asked me out first which surprised me. Then I got brave and started asking her out and we ended up doing a bunch of fun things together and we got along really well. I assumed we were just hanging out as friends, but she started calling it dates, so I thought she might have feelings for me too. Then one day, she invites me to lunch only to tell me she has another friend that lives out of state who she has always loved and wants to be with him instead of me.
This made me super depressed and confused. I know she meant me no harm and I’m not mad, but it still hurts. I’ve had a hard time getting over it, but I now realize this kind of thing happens all the time to people and nothing is ever a for sure thing.

Can someone give me some advice
I have a guy friend and we've been friends for almost 8 months now. We tease eachother a lot and I'm his only close friend who's a girl. We text and he cares about me a lot. It seems like we both get jealous when one of us is talking with someone else. He's not afraid to have physical contact with me either. Does he like me Also, how do I ask him if he likes me I don't want to straight up tell him that I like him or ask him if he likes me. I don't want to ask him Do you like anyone Either. I want to ask in a way where if he says no, I could still keep the friendship. I'm really scared to lose him because he means a lot to me. He's an important person in my life. What should I do

Oh the f'in irony XD where were you guys when I was nearly begging for this one year ago Oh what a fin journey that was. Turns out the chick had daddy issues, she was hurt by a man, possibly many. Definitely autistic and now is soliciting unhealthy mental health advice online under a different alias. The dumb ditzy goes by vilemonstrosity, Sille, Sylvester, and now apparently Venus on threads. On threads they said to a response that asked, How do you know someone can't be manipulated or w/e tf it said, her response when they use the same manipulation tactics that you use. It was that moment then, I had fully realized what I had already known. They're nothing short of npd

I had my fair share of crushes over the years that never went anywhere. During my schoolyears, i had a crush on a girl or two and they weren't really interested in me either way, also maybe i didn't took my approach very well towards it and i didn't know what i was doing because of my autism, i was also still young and naive.
As i go trough life finding the one, i also have all these valuable lessons from this video , being surrounded and supported by other loved ones feels great and makes me feel a little better. Also focussing on my personal interest and hobbies does the job, maybe not the whole time, but it can fill the void for a bit.

tbh idk if this video applies to me, but i dated this girl for like 2 weeks after meeting on hinge overnight and things ended terribly. yes we dated, but then we tried to start again as friends for like 2 months before i decided to end things. and it hurt so much actually, and the next day i lwk tried to beg for forgiveness or for her attention but i didn’t get any response in return. it was probably for the better though. i still miss her a lot and i feel really guilty about some things that went unsaid. maybe one day we’ll get to talk to each other again.

How to get over someone you never dated
This hit me hard. Im in situation where I have feelings for someone but we started as a friend but then later I learn that she's already in a relationship but I continue to be her friend and my feelings for her get stronger.
I tried to forget my feelings and even leave and don't talk to them but she's always in my mind and later on she says that she also have feelings with me but she can't let go her current relationship
I'm stuck in waiting for her or leave them for good and now I don't know what to feel anymore

If it is just Crush i am here to say to you that you will move on and forget it. Try to be logical with your decision
a relationship is built on trust and actions
Focus on yourself everything will come later
You are hurt because you dont know that real person
What you know about them is merely an illusion a perfect picture of that person
Sorry to say reality can be the complete opposite
Spend time with people
From friends family
And classmates
Neighbors
Your relationships all matter especially the one with yourself

I fell for someone who is polyamorous. After hearing everything that she'd been through with a stalking and possessive ex, i got it into my head that I could give her a happy and healthy life.
But all she sees is her egotistical boyfriend that keeps filling her head with nsfw ideas. Seeing her constantly paying for more commissions of them together hurt too much. I cut her off financially, and finally blocked her so now I can't see those things anymore. But it still hurts so much.

(Edit: I was never gay in my life) after 5 years I hooked up to a girl for far too. long, just got rejected at september what exactly what he said I am not interested in you. Boy that hit me to where attempted suicide happened because I feel that all of that effort was in vain. But right after I have came to a realization that it was not worth taking my life away. Spending time with my friend kegan, forgive her and forget about that was actually working. And now I feel whole again.

I've always been rejected by every single guy I've liked, after every rejection, I tried to overcame it by working on myself and making myself busy. Now I have a lot of certificates on my wall, 5 languages I can speak quite fluently, tons of hobbies and personal projects, I even traveled abroad as I always wanted. I can say I have accomplished many of my dreams now, all except for finding love hahaha I guess some of us are just not made to be in a relationship after all xP

If someone you like rejects you or is already in a relationship don't take it personally. Just remember that the relationship between you and them was probably just never meant to be and that you two probably wouldn't make a good match anyways. It's better to find someone who compliments your given personality who shares your interests, hobbies and life goals but also has enough differences for both of you to bring something new to the table.

My first love was someone I met online. We were best friends, and they didn't feel the same but at the same time, sometimes they would say things that made me believe they did. I was emotionally dependent on them for two years.
Since then, it became hard for me to fall in love again, and for some reason it never really felt quite the same. It feels like something not as intense and as time goes by, it quickly weakens.
