Not sure about these tricks. How much can someone remember These can be easily solved without any tricks, and with a simple sense of geometry and fractions.
Example 1: 7: 20. Hour hand little ahead of 7 and minute hand exactly at 4. Between 7 and 4, it's 90 degrees. In 20mins hour hand moves 1/3 rd of 30degrees, so 10degrees. Add these to get 100degrees. No paper pen.
Example 2: 1: 55. Hour hand little behind 2, min hand exactly at 11. Between 11 and 2, 90 degrees. So the final answer would be slightly less than 90. How less 5/60 of 30 degrees. 2. 5 degrees. So final answer 87. 5.
Calculating 5511/2 would take more time and difficult to do without pen and paper.
