You kinda ignored real history and the real people who started the revolt Omar Makram and instead decided to take the weird sci fi albanian fiction
Albanians were part of the ottoman forces who were sacking egyptian homes during the unrest which pushed Egyptians to revolt led by Omar Makram and Mohamed Ali joined them and thats why he became their leader at the end.
But sadly albanian wiki warriors removed Omar Makram completely and made themselves look like the godfather who were planning everything under the table like some kind of hbo drama and not a simply raider and looters who Mohamed Ali himself got rid of after he ruled.

Such a shame. Egypt seemed like a rising power. It seemed like it could be a technological and industrial power. The late Ottomans were backwards and corrupt. And when it collapsed it ended with many deaths. A stable and advanced Egypt could have brought some stability in the region. I blame the British and other European powers for undermining Egypt’s potential

Mamlukes did the same thing as Albanians did here, turns out inviting a foreign army to do your fighting for you is a bad idea but dumb kings and sultans did this over and over again in history. It's even believed that's how Saxons came to know about England, as hired troops for the celts.

Basically, we're finding out that throughout history most leaders had to operate as if they were teenagers at school: try to keep good relations with the majority of the in-crowd (who all hated each other) and grab some weaker kids' lunch money (if they thought they could get away with it.

I found it hard to stop and stop enough to read the diplomatic letters, this video needs an exact time index to them all.
Also, I found it strange that this story has no mention of Crimea, Crimean war and Arabia. I thought they would surely be part of the story.

Since we're in muslim matters, an interesting subject could be a Why did the muslim world accept the abolition of the caliphate video, since it raises some questions on reactions of such an important institution being abolished by a secular pro-west leader

I like how when it’s a non-European country we always consider that it is THEIR land. If Egypt had held to these land, it would have been the same as if Austria Hungary had kept Croatia. These were different people living there

Did anyone else misread the title as why Egypt was forced to give up its Islands And wonder which Islands it was talking about until hearing the why did it accept losing so much land and had to check it was not about Islands.

Interesting because a century after, Britain and France divided the former Ottoman empire like cake. It's interesting the European powers want to see the Ottoman empire largely intact despite hating them in the early millenia.

Haven’t even watched the video but I’ll tell u why, the real why, to stop a Muslim superpower from forming, that’s why the Illuminati’s whole goal is to break Muslim countries into smaller weaker countries

Well, Muhammad Ali Pasha is not good either. All the expansions and wars were in order to obtain the declaration of the inheritance of the throne to his eldest son, and this only achieved personal glory for him.

Frankly the offer by European great powers to let them keep only Sinai and a part of Palestine was probably a thinly veiled attempt at making sure the Egyptians would decline, so they could take even more.

Egypt didn't lose any land. The current Egyptian boarders are what Egypt is historically. Sayene in Aswan to the south. Arish in Sinai in the east. Alamin in Marsa-matrouh to the west. These were colonies.
