We-ve heard from so many teachers and students who are using Crash Course videos to help with learning amid all this uncertainty, and we are very grateful. Here is some widely applicable, evidence-based public health advice that we put together with the help of our friends at Operation Outbreak and the Sabeti Lab at Harvard. This video is supported by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation through Operation Outbreak and the Sabeti Lab at Harvard University and at Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Complexly also has other great channels like Healthcare Triage with Dr. Aaron Carroll and SciShow that are providing in-depth updates on COVID-19. SciShow: Healthcare Triage

All what you said is true, but comparing developing sewerage systems to washing your hands and putting a mask is misleading. Individual choices do matter, but as you said not everyone can abide by those rules and not everybody will. The Infusstructue of sewerage is a public and political endeavor. It isn't like social distancing, it's like funding public health, subsidising unemployed workers and building shelters for the homeless and victims of domestic violence. Those are POLITICAL actions, taken together as a community and a public. So right now, the best thing Americans can do to stop the pandemic is VOTE

Excited for this, especially as a health student interested in an MPH and currently working in health education! Proud to be a Patreon supporter. Please definitely do an episode (or 2) on health literacy and digital health literacy - and please promote websites like Medline Plus as sources for free and reliable health information, also hospital and public libraries.

Half the people I know have caught the virus. Most are OK now; a few passed away. Life does go on, but we can all make an effort to stay safe. A few I've heard say, -I choose to live life. - Well. that's fine. Just live your life away from me and if you want others to respect your way of thinking, start by respecting theirs.

This video, like many Vlogbrothers and Crash Course videos, makes me so profoundly proud to be part of the Nerdfighter community. I am a teacher and I will definitely be playing this for my classes before October break. Thanks again, stay safe, DFTBA x

Perfect video. Do your part, people: wear a mask, wash your hands often, keep a safe distance from each other and VOTE for someone who will take this seriously. Wherever you are.

Brilliant video! I'm glad the medical inequality was mentioned as it's almost never talked about but is definitely a driving force in modem medicine and pandemics.

The problem with this video is it-s reaching the well off, educated people. those who are most likely to act in defiance of it and the least affected to start.

Has the virus been considered the kind of sickness if you get and survive you won't get it again or is it possible to be reinfected?

I've nothing profound to say, but as any comment raises the chances of The Algorithm suggesting this to someone else, this will do.

We still experience H1N1 as part of the flu season, that was the last pandemic so will never get rid of it. Just better manages it.
