You are entirely accurate to say that it is not the full story. Notice how the exceptions to putting common pairings apart all end up with the top row. Why? It allows to type the name of the device using only the top row.

Qwerty is a really terrible keyboard layout. The Dvorak keyboard leaves qwerty in the dust. When I switched to Dvorak I ended up typing 50% faster than I did on qwerty.

Since when does simply writing the name of something execute it? Usually you must use. /name, otherwise it assumes the thing is in the root directory.

I love how you didn't tell anyone how to open a terminal in Linux (common distros. Cuz if you're running linux, you know how to use a terminal.
